Heading Up North

I want to thank our Seniors for all of their hard work, dedication, and for buying into what we are building down here. I know they will each be successful in whatever life throws at them. Thanks Guys!

Short week here, rain has washed out Monday's practice and our scrimmage vs. LCC on Tuesday. So practice Wednesday and then up to Marshall, TX on Thursday. The RRAC south #1 seed comes down to this weekend and our final 3 RRAC games vs Wiley College. They are having a great year and they will be ready to play. As for our boys, they will be too!

Until Next Week!

A Great Night at the Ballpark!

We hosted our 1st ever "Scorpions Fight Back Against Breast Cancer" night at the ballpark on Tuesday evening - It was a great success. We sold out of our pink shirts and I hope to make the donation later on this week! I want to thank all those who helped out to make this event - I hope it was the first of many in the the years to come!

It's back to RRAC play this weekend and the boys are focused on the task at hand. Its important we finish strong and secure a spot in the post season, and hopefully with a high seed!

I really like how we are playing as of late, we have been swining the bats well and playing good defense. Our pitching has been great for the most part, we just lacked a little focus as of late - but they will get things straightened out...

See you this weekend! DH on Friday 4 pm and then Senior Day on Saturday 1 pm!!

4-2 in RRAC Play

Congrats to Brian - he had a great weekend for us!

I would like to invite all to our first annual Breast Cancer Awareness night at the Ballpark - tomorrow April 6, at 6 pm when we host TAMIU - it will be a great event for us and our campus!

Then this coming weekend it is parents weekend and on Saturday we pay tribute to our Seniors:
Robby Mang
Daniel "Trey" Garcia
Walter Blume
Jesus Mendoza
Brian Bustos

All of these guys will be missed, not only because of what they can do on the field, but they are also very fine young men...I am proud to have them in our program and I wish them the best of luck in thier futures. However, they still have some work to do on the field!

See you at the Ballpark!
